An exciting and challenging two night tour that will take you into the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. With rolling hills, beautiful valleys as well as three of the best climbs in the UK. You will be led by our road captain over Buttertubs Pass and the famous Fleet Moss, all the while taking in breathtaking scenery with like-minded people. We will squeeze in lunch at a quaint cafe or two as well, after all you will need some fuel to keep you going.
Our Yorkshire Dales Three Peaks Signature event takes you on a unique cycling experience, visiting the places that have made Yorkshire one of the most iconic cycling destinations in the world and a must place to visit for any discerning cyclist. You will climb three of the most well known routes in Yorkshire in one day, followed by a flexible approach to the next day, allowing for another challenging ride for those who still have the legs or a lighter recovery ride to reflect on what you have achieved.

Itinerary Summary

Day 1: Welcome to Yorkshire! Arrival at your accommodation and the chance to meet your hosts and fellow cyclists. Welcome briefing, bike set up and warm up Ride

 

Evening meal to meet your Tyco Cycling hosts and fellow cyclists

Day 2: Three Peaks Challenge. This day brings an epic day of riding, covering some of the most iconic climbs in the UK. Wake up to a hearty breakfast of muesli, porridge and fruit for course one, followed by scrambled eggs a bacon sandwich or croissants. Today, you will cycle some of the steepest climbs in Yorkshire, supported throughout by your ride leaders. Starting off in Reeth, you will ride over Buttertubs Pass, descending towards Hawes, before starting your ascent of the famous Fleet Moss. After Fleet Moss, you will continue through the beautiful village of Kettlewell, before riding on to your final climb of the day, the infamous Park Rash and back to your accomodation.

Day 3: Options Day

Option 1: After your epic day of riding, it's time to get back on the bike for another morning of riding some of Yorkshire's best routes, planned and led by your Tyco Road Captain, stopping for lunch in one of the many beautiful villages before retuning back to the centre, for a visit to Two Dales bakery for lunch, where you can sample the locally made produce.


Option 2: Alternatively, you have the chance to stretch your legs with a shorter ride over the famous Stang hill climb to the historic town of Richmond, where you will be treated with splendid views over the Dales as you continue and descend into Richmond for coffee and cake. After refuelling in Richmond, you will be led back on the lower road to Reeth, for a visit to Two Dales bakery for lunch, where you can sample the locally made produce.

After returning and packing up, it'll be time to say goodbye to your hosts and the new friends you have made.
